Change vs Next Level

Next level.

Is there a difference between these two terms?

During the campaign for the last general elections a political party’s slogan was Change. Elections ( in my beloved ‘kantry’ Nigeria) are here again and the party’s new slogan is Next Level. And I’m wondering if there is any difference between Change and Next level, especially as I and a good number of people didn’t see any iota of the promised change… What’s the guarantee that we will be upgraded to a Next level this time?

This post isn’t even about anything political lemmi just move on.

Holding on to nothing but some faith I decided to make some change in my address……’continentally’.

Now, aside my physical address change,  I also want to change blog address too. I want to trade in my addy  for a .com one. I’ve been thinking of doing this for a long time (side eye @Obx) but have been constrained for some reasons.

I don’t know much about the differences between the .com and .org sites. I am not that tech savvy. I’ve also heard such changes can make one lose comments or whole posts and I am really scared of that..every comment is like fried plantain to me. I don’t want to lose any.

I’m still trying to figure it all, but in the mean time, can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? I will be very grateful.

Moving to a new and blinking cold country has been interesting and amusing. I had intended to have a section/series where I would write about my adjustments to the move and share some of my new experiences. But some days i feel like I’ve lost my blogging/writing mojo. I have one or two drafts one my phone notepad I just might share.

2018 was fast. Of course it is the same 365 days but it sure feels like the year went by quickly. Does it feel same to you?

At the end of the year do you normally look back to the goals/plan you had at the beginning and see how you fared or you just want the year to end quickly so you can plan afresh. I haven’t looked at mine, but so far the year had been good…some highs and some lows but in all I’m grateful. I haven’t looked, but I’m sure I have some unchecked stuff on my list, like picking up “Le husband” off the store-shelf and putting him in my cart. Anyway, there is still a few days of shopping left in the year to do.

I’m thankful. And grateful for the year. It’s all been by His grace.

What’s one thing you’re thankful for this year?

As for the year, I only look back to learn my lessons, then follow one of my best quotes from Ragnar Lothbrok (Vikings)- “Don’t waste your time looking back, your’re not going that way”.. So every year i’m optimistic and endeavor to make progress, no matter how little.
I’m thankful for the wonderful people I’ve met this year and the achievements which has placed me to start a whole new life journey starting in January 2019..

    Happy new year in advance!!!
